Dr. Park specializes in comprehensive decision-making and problem-solving through logical reasoning and scientific methodologies, leveraging his extensive background in data science and business analytics.
Dr. Park's research interests lie in the application of advanced data analytics techniques, such as AI, mathematical programming, and statistical inference. He is passionate about applying data-driven insights to craft compelling narratives that drive informed decision-making under uncertainty. As AI continues to evolve rapidly, he is conducting research into ethical AI governance, drawing from Peter Drucker's philosophy of Management as a Liberal Art (MLA), which emphasizes a human-centered approach to management. He contributes to the academic community through collaborative projects, such as a symposium on 'AI and Ethics' and research on 'AI and MLA' at the Management as a Liberal Art Research Institute (MLARI), Alhambra, CA.
Dr. Park holds a PhD in Business Analytics from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, IA. He also holds a BBA and an MS in Management Science from Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea, which has earned all of the major international business education accreditations, including the AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA.
Dr. Park serves as an adjunct faculty member in Data Analytics at the California Institute of Advanced Management (CIAM), Alhambra, CA. He also teaches various courses on Data Analytics and Decision Science to graduate students at Westcliff University, Irvine, CA. His teaching philosophy emphasizes student-centered learning, fostering critical thinking with creativity, and practical application of theories in real-world scenarios.
