My full name, Kyungchan, can be a bit tricky to pronounce

—[kee-young-chahn] if you're curious—

but "K" is easier to remember and sticks well. 

When I'm not immersed in academia, 

I love spending time outdoors in Orange County, CA,

where I live with my wife and two cats. 

Whether it's exercising or having a BBQ, 

I value a balanced lifestyle 

that nurtures both mental and physical well-being. 

My vision is to continue contributing to the academic community,

while exploring the intersection of 

data analytics, human decision-making, and societal well-being.

I believe that decision science offers a powerful framework 

for not only solving complex problems 

but also fostering more thoughtful, compassionate choices
